House Speaker Mitzi Johnson and Senate President Tim Ashe Announce Formation of Joint Small Business Solutions Task Force
Recognizing the unprecedented impacts of the current economic shutdown on small businesses, independent contractors, and the self-employed, House Speaker Mitzi Johnson and Senate President Tim Ashe today announced the formation of a joint House and Senate committee, the Small Business Solutions Task Force.
The Task Force is charged with ensuring that resources aimed at helping small businesses and independent contractors are being appropriately directed by state efforts and Vermont is maximizing the assistance to meet their on the ground needs.
Senate appointees to the Task Force are Randy Brock (R-Franklin), Alison Clarkson (D-Windsor) and Michael Sirotkin (D-Chittenden).
House appointees to the Task Force are Michael Marcotte (R-Coventry), Charlie Kimbell (D-Woodstock) and Stephanie Jerome (D-Brandon).
